Human resources responsibilities are not exclusive to one department.  School leaders, whether they focus on academic or administrative functions, are expected to be involved in managing the people in their respective teams. These school leaders are the frontliners who must nurture all the members of the team to adopt the values, goals, and culture of the school.  Furthermore, they must be responsible for the performance and discipline of their team through coaching and crafting the development plans that will promote growth for their team members.

In this session, the school leader will be able to:

  • Embrace their human resource role in their team or unit.
  • Influence their team members to adopt to the mission and vision of the school.
  • Create  job description or perform job crafting to ensure clear understanding of the team member’s role.
  • Design development plans to ensure productivity and professional growth for their people.
  • Handle discipline issues in the workplace.
