 About the Organizer

AASHPI

 

Junior Asian Association of School Human Resource Practitioners, Inc. (Junior AASHPI) is an organization of collegiate students who are enrolled in human resource, psychology and business administration across the country.  It is the youth arm of AASHPI which has been known to human resource (HR) practitioners in schools nationwide. Junior AASHPI will stage its first-ever national convention with the theme, “Opportunities and Challenges for Generation Z in the ASEAN Integration” this January 23, 2015 at Ugnayang La Salle, De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, Cavite.  The convention will highlight the effects of ASEAN Integration to this generation.  It will make the students understand the competencies needed and the opportunities ahead of them. Aside from this, the organizer prepared fun-learning activities where they can represent their school, as they showcase their creativity, talents and wits.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

        

 
  1. The Participant is considered officially registered if he/she paid the total seminar investment fee.  Participants shall pay the seminar investment fee applicable at the time of payment. Mode of payment can be in cash or check (payable to AASHPI).  Remittance of payment can be done through:

  4. Only acknowledged confirmation form will be recorded. Participant/s are advised to call or e-mail the Secretariat for confirmation. Participant/s must ensure that transmittals are acknowledged by the Secretariat.
  5. All confirmation form without corresponding payment shall be treated as walk-in participant/s and walk-in rate will be applied.
  6. Registration made on  January 17, 2015 on wards will be considered walk-in.  Participants are advised to print their confirmation form and payment.
  7. CANCELLATION BY PARTICIPANT: Strictly no refund after confirmation. JUNIOR AASHPI LOGO MAKING MECHANICS                

 

  1. The Junior AASHPI LOGO should depict what AASHPI is all about and its Mission and Vision.
  2. At least two (2) contestants per school are allowed to join in the competition. They should be a bonafide student of the participating school enrolled in any of the following programs: Psychology (Industrial/Organizational), Human Resource Management, Educational/Business Management.
  3. The contestant/s must not use a Registered Trademark or Patented Symbols.
  4. The materials that maybe used in the logo are: oil pastel, oil paints, crayons, color pencil, ink and pen, water color, and pencil. This will be provided by the contestant/school.
  5. The time allotted for the contest is one (1) hour.  The contestant should finish the logo within the specified time.
  6. The organizer will provide the 1/2 illustration board with the assigned number of the contestant will appear on the illustration board.
  7. The deadline of submission of the filled-out registration form is on January 19, 2015 (Monday). JUNIOR AASHPI ESSAY WRITING MECHANICS                

 

 
  1. The essay should be based on the theme of the program.
  2. Only one contestant per school is allowed to join in the competition. S/He should be a bonafide student of the participating school enrolled in any of the following programs: Psychology (Industrial/Organizational), Human Resource Management, Educational/Business Management.
  3. The essay should be written in English and shall have a minimum of 500 words and a maximum of 700 words.
  4. Any distinguishing mark or name of the contestant/school should not appear in the entry. Only the assigned entry number should appear on the paper.
  5. The paper and pen will be provided by the organizer.
  6. The time allotted for the contest is one (1) hour.  The contestant should finish the essay within the specified time.
  7. The deadline of submission of the filled-out registration form is on January 19, 2015 (Monday). JUNIOR AASHPI JINGLE WRITING MECHANICS               

 

 
  1. The Junior AASHPI Jingle Writing Contest is open to all songwriter/composer/lyricist from different participating schools/ colleges/universities. S/He should be a bonafide student of the participating school enrolled in any of the following programs: Psychology (Industrial/Organizational), Human Resource Management, Educational/ Business Management.
  2. The entry must be an original unpublished composition of an individual or a collaborative work of a songwriter/composer and lyricist.
  3. Lyrics must be in English and must embody the ideals and values of AASHPI. A copy of the description, vision and mission of AASHPI will be given to the participating schools for their reference.
  4. A song entry may be submitted with only a guitar/ keyboard accompaniment.
  5. The entry must not exceed four (4) minutes inclusive of intro and extro.
  6. The entry may be submitted in CD format to the Secretariat not later than 10:00am of January 23, 2014.
  7. The lyrics of the song maybe written in MS Word format and will also be submitted.
  8. The entry should be performed by any of the following: songwriter, composer, lyricist (minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 members) during the competition proper. JUNIOR AASHPI INTER-SCHOOL HR TRIVIA CHALLENGE MECHANICS

 

 
  1. Participants
    1. The Junior AASHPI Inter-School HR Trivia Challenge is open to students from different participating schools/colleges/universities. S/He should be a bonafide student of the participating school enrolled in any of the following programs: Psychology (Industrial/Organizational), Human Resource Management, Educational/Business Management.
    2. A team shall be composed of 4 members. There must be an assigned faculty member as official coach of the team, in case of questions or complaints. Only the official coach of the participating team is authorized to raise questions or complaints on behalf of the team. Questions should be addressed to the assigned Board of Judges. The complaint should be settled before the Challenge Master reads the next question. The decision of the panel of judges is considered final.
    3. All participating teams should be identified by either wearing their official school uniform or school I.D.
    4. All entry forms shall be submitted on or before January 9, 2015, Friday or at least confirmed to the office of the AASHPI on or before the said date. Entries beyond the deadline will not be accepted.
    5. On the day of the HR Trivia Challenge, all participants must confirm their registration with the contest committee at the registration area at 12:30- 12:50 p.m. only. Confirmation of registration for participation in the HR Trivia Challenge will close at exactly 12:50 p.m. and late confirmation will not be entertained.
  2. Contest Rules 
    1. The contest shall consist of 20 questions which will be flashed on the multi-media screen :
    2. The Challenge Master will read the questions twice only.
    3. Each team will be provided with a blank card to write their answers.
    4. The participants will be given ten (10) seconds to write their answers on the blank card after the Quizmaster reads the question twice. All answers on the card will be raised and shown to the judges at a given signal.  Failure to comply with the time signal will render the answer invalid.  
    5. Should there be a tie, the Challenge Master will give another question to break the tie. The scores of the teams will be written on a scoreboard facing the contestants.
    6. The team that gets the highest scores will be declared Champion. The 2nd and 3rd Placers will also be acknowledged accordingly.
    7. Sources of Questions: The twenty (20) trivia question items (multiple choice or identification) will be coming from the AASHPI Officers covering the subject/topic Human Resources Management and AASHPI. Trivia Questions will be treated confidential.
