AASHPI is pleased to announce its joint project with  the Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) and MediCard Foundation in Gen. Nakar, Quezon, as one of AASHPI’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The partnership was formalized though a meeting held on January 26, 2017 at Medicard Foundation Office in Makati City. This project aims to provide sustainable activities geared towards an enhanced quality of life for the Dumagat indigenous people residing in Masla, Gen. Nakar, Quezon Province.

The AASHPI Foundation, through the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), along with other benefactors, donated to the families that were affected by Typhoon Nina (internationally named "Nock-ten'). The typhoon which ran at 185 kilometers per hour, pounded the Bicol Region on Christmas Day last 2016.
